Just as you are

Just as you are

Women have been gathering in sacred circles for centuries, as a safe place to support, share and listen to each other. It is an opportunity to create heartfelt connections with like-minded women physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Each circle offers a theme of discussion where you are invited, if you feel called, to share thoughts, insight and wisdom. Laugh, cry, talk, listen and be held as we sip tea and truly connect.
GATHER with Sharna and be held in a gentle space to connect with our community, intuition and divine feminine energy.

I offer an opportunity for women to put themselves first, for just a moment, to be able to reconnect with who you are in your heart.

This practice, and I speak from first-hand experience, will change your life. Without this Tradition, I know that GATHER would not have come to fruition because I would have been stuck in my fear and doubts of why I couldn't do it. My aim is to give you the opportunity to set yourself free of anything holding you back from the life you desire. Not just dream it. Live it! In the words of my teacher “Real yoga is not about fun, fitness or flexibilitiy. It is about freedom”.

As a trained Traditional Hatha Yoga teacher and life-long student, I guide students through a sequence designed to manage energy, stabilise and ground the body and mind to create a calm and vibrant way of life.
Each practice will be a complete practice, comprising of Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. Students will leave with tools to support their life off the mat to allow them to truly embody the practice and integrate experience.

Traditional Hatha Yoga is the original yoga - “lineage-based practices, time tested and
unchanged over thousands of years”.

Losing my beloved dog Leo was one of the hardest experiences of my life. After spending more than 10 years together, I am still adjusting to life without him by my side. While the grief ebbs and flows, I am now able to remember him with joy and happiness instead of heartbreak.
Leo was a special boy, I always said he was a human in a dog’s body. He was able to understand me on a different level, a good balance of human awareness and unbridled dog joy.
I have decided to embark on a creative project to solidify his memory, not just for myself, by for anyone who understand the loss and memory of a dog. I am in the process of writing a children’s book that brings Leo’s memory to life as he navigates life from a puppy to adulthood and then saying goodbye. My intention with Leo’s book is to teach children how to care for a dog from a puppy to an adult. While also teaching them the importance of saying goodbye when the time comes and all the emotions that follow. This book will not only follow Leo’s life and experiences but, I hope, will give everyone who reads it a glimpse into the special soul that he was.

A project very special to my heart that is a healing work in progress.

Women have a natural ability for compassion, nurturance and to show love and care. My extensive career in the zoo industry has given me insight into how much women give of themselves and how little they give to themselves.

My intention is to create a grounding and safe space to support women. To allow them to feel held and nurtured while being surrounded by women who understand completely what they may be experiencing. It takes a lot for most women to step away and care for themselves because we feel the need to fulfil our roles - mother, teacher, lover, carer - the list is endless. I offer an opportunity for women to put themselves first, for just a moment, to be able to reconnect with who you are in your heart.
